The first information day in preparation for “Smart Manufacturing, Innovation, Learning-labs and Entrepreneurship” hackathon has been held at TNTU 15th of September. The hackathon is to take place at Politechnico di Milano on November 27th – December 1st this year so it is right time to familiarize our students with goals, principles and rules of this competition. SMILE team members informed prospective student participants who had been trained in frame of the SMILE project  and answered their questions about the hackathon. Tetiana Vitenko focused on the strategic goals of the SMILE project and the expected benefits from the hackathon for the European and regional innovation ecosystems. Nataliia Marynenko explained peculiarities of startup as a form of innovation-related entrepreneurship. Liliya Melnyk characterized forthcoming Smart Manufacturing Hackathon in greater details and specified what is expected from the particiants. Yuriy Skorenkyy gave a broad overview of possible challenges proposed by Ukrainian companies and approaches to combine efforts of students from different fields of specialization.
