Last month Nataliia Marynenko, DSc, Professor of the Economics and Finance Department and Liliya Melnyk, DSc, Professor of the Innovation Activity and Services Management Department took part in a workshop for «SMILE» (Smart Manufacturing Innovation, Learning-labs and Entrepreneurship) project participants held in Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy).
During the meeting, the project’s partners discussed the governance and transferability model, participated in training sessions on scouting, mentoring, smart manufacturing framework, digital learning nuggets, digital learning labs etc. Project management meeting and roundtable discussion on analysis of Cohort 1 KIC projects have been held as well.
The implementation of the project will make it possible to improve the educational and innovative infrastructure of the partner universities and contribute to the development and enhancement of entrepreneurial skills among students, teachers, and non-academic staff.
The implementation of the project will make it possible for our university not only to apply new teaching methods and tools into the educational process, but also give the opportunity for TNTU students to participate in a specialized international hackathon regarding innovative approaches of «smart manufacturing».
One of the outcomes of the joint work of TNTU scientists with the ones from Germany, Italy and Denmark will be the development of regional innovation ecosystem, which contributes to the strengthening of the Ukrainian economy and its integration into the common European space.
Strengthening existing and creating new partnerships with Ukrainian enterprises will enable TNTU to respond even better to modern challenges and play its role as a center of innovative development of the region.
