TNTU teams are actively preparing to participate in the SMILE Hackathon (www.smile-hackathon.eu), which will be held at the Milan Polytechnic (Milan, Italy) on November 27-30, 2023 in online format.
Mentors of the project Tetyana Vitenko, Natalia Marynenko, Lilia Melnyk, Iryna Strutynska, Yuriy Skorenkyy conduct a series of trainings and workshops for the members of the two teams that will represent the university in the international competition.
Students prepare to work on selected challenges mastering the design thinking method, which will allow them to create concepts to improve the lives of consumers. The basis of this approach to solving problems is a focus on users, their needs, problems and requirements. After going through the stages of empathy, focus, idea generation, prototyping and testing, the teams will present their developments during pitching in video format.
