Every SMILE activity paves a way to the ‘Smart Manufacturing Innovation, Learning-labs, and Entrepreneurship‘ project success. On September 20th, consortium participated in fast-track workshop and training at MADE4.0 center hosted by Politecnico di Milano. MADE is a Competence Center for Industry 4.0 (https://www.made-cc.eu/en) that simulates a digital factory, created to carry out orientation, training, and finalization of technology transfer projects on Industry 4.0 issues. MADE4.0 supports the digital transition of companies to smart, connected, and sustainable practices.

Course “Human Centered Factories – Industry 5.0 in practice” developed by our partners in DE4Human project and now completing its piloting phase has helped to strengthen expertise on main challenges and applications of Industry 4.0. For SMILE project participants it offers an opportunity to master efficient methods of assessing the human needs and leard how technologies can assist in smart manufacturing operations.
